About Kathryn

Children are my favorite people! Having raised and homeschooled three of my own (all now in college or high school) I'm drawn to the joyful way young minds work, and I consider caregiving to be deeply satisfying work. I'm a warm, calm, and patient person with a passion for helping children learn and grow. I have a college degree and a flawless driving record. I am comfortable caring for multiple kids between the ages of 0 and 11. I communicate with parents about their child's day or any issues that arise by following their preferred communication method. I take my cues on household rules from parents and follow their lead. I love reading aloud, nature walks, playgrounds, board games, and puzzles. I enjoy arts and crafts, and baking with kids (with parents' permission, of course.) I have a car, and am very comfortable with pets.
