Hello! I am retired from the public library after 17 years, and have worked with seniors in that setting, teaching computer classes and managing a library volunteer force - for seniors, by seniors. Also, I spent several years in senior library outreach, delivering books, DVDs, and books on CD to shut-ins their homes or apartments. I play guitar and have frequently entertained groups of seniors, where some had dementia or Alzheimer's. I now have a few months of experience with a 90-year-old woman with Alzheimer's who lives in Assisted Living and is in hospice. I do have limitations regarding lifting clients. I am happy to talk with you about this and anything else you want to ask about. I don't smoke. I currently drive Chevy Express van, and I have a step stool to help a client into and out of the front seat. I have one passenger seat.
