About Kathryn

I bring magic, creativity, and gentleness to childcare. I have been working as a nanny for the past year and looking for more consistent nanny work. My childcare experience includes teaching 2nd and 4th grade art classes, teaching karate classes to 4-6-year-olds, coaching a 5-6th grade volleyball team, working at the summer daycare. I also have volunteered in elementary and middle school art classes and as tutor for special needs kids in kindergarten at Public Schools. I sing songs and lullaby's in 7 languages. I have a BFA in fine arts and writing and plan on pursuing a master's in art education. I am inspired by Montessori, Waldorf, and gentle-parenting methods. I incorporate a holistic nature and play based approach to childcare. I think my creativity, compassion, and unique presence will help them feel supported in their journey of growth.
