About Kathryn

I'm a caregiver with over 20 years of experience caring for children of all ages. I'm passionate about fostering children's growth and development and believe that I can make a positive impact on children's lives. I'm patient, calm, creative, imaginative, friendly, and approachable. I'm also very comfortable enforcing household rules and keeping your children safe. I enjoy playing outdoor sports and physical games, board games and puzzles, and educational games that promote learning. I'm comfortable caring for two children and am happy to help with cooking, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and swimming supervision. I'm First Aid trained, CPR certified, and have taken coursework in early child development. I am certified in water safety instruction with over 10 years teaching swimming. I communicate with parents about their child's day and any issues that arise by writing daily reports and having verbal communication at pick-up. I follow the parents' preferred communication.
