I'd describe my personality as calm and patient, but creative and playful. I love coming up with active and artsy things to do with the kiddos to keep them engaged and having fun. I like working with kids because I love teaching and mentoring. Also the connections you make with the kiddos and families are so special and unlike any other job can offer. It's rewarding being there for a family when they need you and such an honor becoming part of someone's else's life in this way. I'm looking for a job that not only meets my desired hours but helps me learn and grow as a person. I started working with kids when I was pretty young. As a preteen I would babysit the neighbor kids. When I turned 19, I branched out and became a nanny to two kids. Since then I have cared for seniors and now work with kids on the autism spectrum.
