I have worked in child care settings for 19 years and as a full-time nanny for 9. I have experience with children from birth to age 15, including preemies. I have worked for multiple families with young twins and triplets as well as older siblings. I also have my own set of twins born in 2016. I have worked in a grade school before and after-school program, a health club daycare, as a PCA for a young boy with autism and as a volleyball coach as well. I have my degree in child development and I plan to continue working as a nanny for a long time. I have worked for families with up to six children, but have had up to 35 children in my care in other settings. I love animals, arts and crafts, music, being outside, reading and more. I am very comfortable working for families where one or both parent(s) are in and out during the day as well!

Kate took care of my two girls (ages 3 and 1) during my mom's out-of-town rehearsal dinner and wedding this past weekend. Though I was flustered at trying to introduce my kids to a new sitter in house that wasn't mine, Kate immediately put me at ease. She greeted my kids (so important to me), asked all the right questions (even remembering to ask about food allergies when I had forgotten to tell her about my daughter's nut allergy and Epi-pen - yikes!) and before I even knew it, she had masterfully taken over the responsibility of my kids for me. Since the wedding was at my mom's house, my husband and I were on site, as well as many family members and friends. I wasn't quite sure how to balance having my girls be present at the wedding but also be able to enjoy the celebration as an adult with my husband, but Kate was such a professional, I did not even have to think about it. She handled the situation perfectly, letting my girls visit with family, but taking them away before anyone else started to feel it was their responsibility to take care of them. Several of my family members even commented on how well she handled the situation. Kate's friendly, competent, smart, caring, warm, funny, punctual, responsible, and fun to talk to to boot! Hire her! You will be glad you did.
