Hello! My name is Kathryn and I have just recently graduated from college. While my degree was in biology, I have had 10 years of experience in child care. I have cared for infants beginning at a few weeks old up to teenagers who were 13 years old. During the spring of 2017, I worked as a substitute teacher in the elementary schools of Duval County. I have also led a Vacation Bible School class where I was in charge of up to 15 children at a time ranging from toddlers to sixth graders for many years. In the summer of 2015, I was a summer nanny for a family with a 1. 5-year-old and a 9-year-old. There, I assisted with getting them to and from school and day care, taking them to summer activities, making lunch and dinner, and keeping the children occupied and happy. I have also tutored students and assisted with homework assignments and have always had a passion for teaching and watching children ever since I can remember. I am excited to see what else I can find.

Kathryn is a family friend, but we also worked together over the past 7 years to support a United Methodist Church Youth Ministries to include: Vacation Bible School, Youth Mission Trips, Youth Service Projects, Fundraising efforts and other Youth Group related events. I thought there might be more questions - so let me add to this reference. Kathryn is beyond amazing. She is fantastic with all kids of all ages and needs - they adore her. She is patient, fun, responsible, mature and can handle a lot of responsibility. Whoever she gets a chance to work for, will absolutely love her!
