About Kathrine

My name is Kathrine, a. k. a. Ms. Kat. My original experience with children was right after high school. I initially taught in a Day Care, toddlers and progressed to first grade. This is where I knew my interest in pursuing my profession teaching children. While at the University of Texas in San Antonio, I became an actor and a singer. This was the perfect combination, as it shaped my personality both on a stage and in a classroom. I am patient, charismatic when it's story time, and listen closely to children's needs. I myself am a mother of two, and I have a nurturing character because of it. I have always promoted well being of a child to be holistic. Aside from developmental academics, this includes healthy eating, artistic discovery and natural remedies if available.
