About Kathlene

Hello, I graduated LVN in 2020 & moved to New York few months after where I started a family & had to hold off taking the nursing board exam. I'm currently rendering my 2 week notice to dedicate some study time and eventually go back to school for BSN. I am open to pick up occasional babysitting M-F, AM/PM starting 2/24. I love being around kids & been helping parents since I was 12 years old. I started getting paid with occasional babysitting while I was in nursing school. I have cared for infants, toddlers, preschool & elementary kids. Infants and toddlers are my forte, I love to apply what I've learned from school & experiences by supporting their cognitive development with age appropriate activities. I would be very excited to help parents w/ infants especially first time moms as I understand how this new role can be very exhausting. I have current background check and driving records, CPR/AED & First Aid Certificate, & completing more advanced ones; BLS, ACLS & PALS.
