I want to be your babysitter! love spending time with kids, their sense of wonder, the questions they ask and their excitement experiencing something new for the first time. My goal as a babysitter is to create an environment where we can experience simple joys, especially through walks around the neighborhood, games at the playground, books and arts and crafts, depending on what your kids are interested in. I started working with kids when I was 15. In high school I lived in Chengdu, China, where I provided English-speaking childcare to the expat community. Since then I have worked as an ELL support teacher, a first grade teacher, tutor, substitute teacher and nanny. For the past three years I have worked on farms, training in outdoor and farm-based education. I've taught farm and garden classes to elementary schoolers, facilitated school field trips to farms, and in 2022 led a team of high school students in working on a farm full-season.
