Hi there! My name is Kate S. I've been in childcare most of my life, and had the pleasure of working with kids in classrooms, churches, homes, and on the field. In my previous nanny job, my duties included carpooling, errands, housework, meal prep, and helping care and train their dog. Before that, I was a live-in nanny for five kids. I had also served as the Assistant Coordinator of an aftercare, staffed and interned at camps and schools, babysat for wonderful families, and served in missions around the world. I got my Associates Degree for Early Childhood Education in University of the Nations, and my Bachelor's Degree for Children's Ministry at Christ for the Nations. I first met Kate in August 2018 when she started as our nanny. From the first time I met her it was clear to me that she is someone special and would succeed in life. She has a beautiful spirit that children and adults gravitate toward and is a natural with people. Her personal character, knowledge, dedication, kindness, ease of communication, and respect for others and their beliefs are just a few of the characteristics that I have valued in being her employer and friend over the past 3 years. She has demonstrated skill in juggling the difficult balance in life of work, home, and community. My children adore her completely and she will be missed dearly. She was exceptionally punctual with an excellent work ethic. As a physician who works shifts my work life is chaotic at best and Kate was invaluable in her support and flexibility.
