I have a very strong background working with children with all types of special needs. I have been an assistant teacher in a special needs class, I have shadowed 3 children in integrated pre schools and I have worked as a Rehabilitation Aide at Egleston children's hospital in Atlanta Georgia. I have experience with oxygen, g-tube and walkers. Managed medications and special diets. I have worked with all the different therapists including swim, horse and play based. I love working with all children however there is something extra special to the little fighters that is amazing to be a part of. I understand the special family issues that having a medically fragile child can bring as well as the extra sense of accomplishment as they defy the odds put upon them.
