About Kathleen

Hello! My name is Kathleen and I have a degree in German Education. After working at a summer school working with second graders, I decided to become an au pair in Germany and absolutely loved it. Currently I am live in support for international teenagers studying in the USA and am looking for summer work while they go back to their home countries. Some of my favorite activities to do with children I worked with in the past include: -playing soccer in the back yard. -having our own band practice. -getting on the ground and playing with dinosaurs. -and having dance parties. After all the fun has been had, I like to put on an educational podcast or an audio book for kids to enjoy. I've found there's a lot of power in having a moment of quiet in the day with kids and it's a great way to get kids to sit down that doesn't involve them sitting in front of a screen. I'm always adapting to what the kids need or what your family needs. I would love to get to know you and your little ones.
