Teaching has been the greatest joy in my life. I recently retired to spend more time with my 2 teenage grandchildren. It may sound silly but I already miss my students! I have taught in Norman & OKC Public Schools, a Native American School and on Chincoteague Island, Virginia. I believe learning should begin at the student's current level of mastery & rise from there. My number one rule is; progress happens when students are having fun and are actively involved in their own learning. I have taught Writing, Reading, American History, and Math in grades Kindergarten- 8th grade. Looking forward to meeting your family!
