Hi, I'm Kay! I'm an artist and educator in New Milford, CT looking to nanny to supplement my income. I am described by many who know me as down-to-earth, empathic, and tenderhearted. I have a Bachelor's degree from Clark University in Psychology and Studio Art (both of which come in handy in childcare) and have also taken a handful of courses through the Office of Early Childhood. Having worked with children for close to a decade between babysitting, summer camp, Girl Scouts, and teaching, it has been an honor to act as a gentle guide in their navigation of what it means to be human. I try to offer the children I work with lots of opportunities to explore new things, get messy, play, move, create and learn. When I am not teaching, you can find me writing songs, making art, spending time with loved ones, and exploring the outdoors.
