About Kathleen

I'd describe my personality as flexible, caring, empathetic I like caring for seniors because I enjoy learning from them, preserving their dignity, and ensuring they feel valued and loved. I'm looking for a job that is flexible, allows me to forge mutual relationships and gives me a feeling that I've made a positive impact. I started caring for seniors 20 yrs ago for a family friend caring for his father, which I did for a few years. I then took in my disabled uncle to live with me and care for him. In my spare time, I like to volunteer, be in nature, play bingo, listen to live bands, garden, take my dog out for walks, spend time with family, go to the casino. One thing you should know about me is I am trustworthy, honest, and caring. I'm independent, can work well under pressure, am empathetic, and a good listener. I have a heart for those who are facing life struggles or those who may be vulnerable. My skills include being a good listener, having patience, and compassion.
