I am an empty nester-proud Mom of 3 girls! I now have extra time to help out those in need! I worked as a nurse for 10 years. While doing so, I assisted my Mom and uncle(both now deceased) with their Dr. appointments, medication schedules, moves to assisted living facilities, and so on as they aged and declined with dementia. I really enjoy working with senior citizens and advocating for them-or just hanging out, picking up some groceries, or driving them to their Doctor appointments. If you are looking for short-term or longer term help for yourself or loved one, I'd be happy to chat with you and discuss ways that I can help you. I was licensed in the state of VA until recently as an RN(and CPR and First Aid certified), but do not perform any medical tasks for clients(though I am known to give lots of free medical advice!).

Kathy assisted me after back surgery. She was very flexible and attentive. My need was short term, and she was great for understanding my needs and providing guidance especially for someone middle aged and not one who likes to be inactive. I definitely needed to take my time with movement in the days following surgery, and her guidance helped me not push myself hard to get back to full mobility and independence. I cannot thank her enough and highly recommend her!
