About Kathleen

I'm patient, calm, and creative, and I strive to create a safe and nurturing environment for the children in my care. I enjoy playing a variety of games with children, including outdoor sports, board games, and technology-based games. I'm comfortable caring for one child at a time, and I'm experienced with children of all ages, from infants to preteens. I am a veteran teacher, and am certified in both CPR and First Aid. I also have a car but I am uncomfortable driving children. However, I am very comfortable with pets and also with light house work. I have ADHD an so I am looking for a family who is patient and understanding and build a relationship. I will need a little time to developed routines, and the flexibility and trust to do things in a way that makes sense to me. But this does not mean that I can't follow directions, just that I will have to accommodate by making lists and setting alarms on my phone. I can adapt but It will take me a few weeks.
