We love "Ms. Katie!" We hired Ms. Katie to home school our 4.5 yr. old son. He took to her immediately! Ms. Katie is incredibly warm and kind but also firm, consistent, and fair. She runs our son's classes with every bit of organization and preparation as she would an entire classroom of students. Working 1:1, Ms. Katie can adapt the lesson plan to fit her student's individual needs and interests. In addition to traditional teaching books and materials, she brings fun hands-on games and interactive learning tools that are exceptionally beneficial to visual or experimental learners. Our son has improved his writing, learned beginner math and skip counting, and is now reading in less than 3 months of daily home school. We've also seen a boost in his confidence! Ms. Katie is always on time. communicative, and supportive to both the student and parents. We are happy we chose to invest in our son's education with her! (*Note, she teaches all grades.)
