About Kathleen

I have always loved working with infants and children. Throughout college and beyond, I worked in child development centers, Montessori Schools, and as a nanny. In 1995, I started my own family. My parenting journey has been an incredible experience, which I continue to learn from as the mother of young adults. Over the past three years, I have had the privilege of caring for a child in my home, from the age of 4 months to 3 years old. As this little one goes off to preschool this fall, I am looking to again provide one-on-one infant care in my beautiful North End Tacoma home, 15-20 hours a week. My background in childcare is rooted in a profound respect for the gentle parenting approach, which prioritizes building secure and responsive relationships with infants. I believe that infants thrive in environments where they feel safe and understood. I look forward to telling you more about my experience and philosophy.
