I have been a certified child life specialist for four years now and I have become a trauma-informed care practitioner and educator within the last year. I just recertified my BLS/CPR training. Child Life specialists are child development experts who mitigate trauma for pediatric patients. I work with mental health patients so I would not be bringing in the normal hospital germs. I genuinely love being with children from infants up to teens. Finding someone you trust to leave with your kids is vital and can be difficult. I want you to feel at ease and would love to meet you beforehand to make sure it is a good fit.
