I am a school teacher (BA in Education and Musical Theatre from Fontbonne University in St. Louis, Missouri) who has been caring for children of all ages and abilities (infant care, special needs care, etc.) in California since 1989. I'm a children's book author and illustrator, musical composer, and former dance and theatre director. I bring a love of the arts, imagination, creativity, and a sense of playfulness to caring for children. I really love caring for newborns and their moms: diapers, dinners and overnights! My specific talents include helping children engage academically, artistically and socially. Teaming up with parents, coaches, teachers and any special needs coordinators, I am always exploring new ways to enhance every child's success and well-being. Kathleen has watched our two children, ages 5 and 7, providing pick up from school to our home. Our family loved her! She provided excellent, engaging and thoughtful care including art, music and game activities. Kathleen is not just a babysitter, she is definitely an expert at child care.
