About Katherine

Hello, I'm Katherine! I hold a BS in Kinesiology and am pursuing a career in pediatric OT. I'm eager to gain more experience with children with disabilities-physical, sensory, cognitive, or developmental-but am also open to babysitting any demographic! I've worked 1-on-1 with children at Camp Nugget, teaching water safety and swimming to children with disabilities. I also worked as an Early Intervention Asst. at Momentum's Leaps and Bounds daycare, supporting children in OT, PT, Speech, and Behavior therapies. I designed sensory activities, facilitated peer interaction, and maintained a safe environment. Additionally, I have extensive experience as a babysitter, lifeguard, swim instructor, and water polo coach. I'm passionate about helping children reach their potential and build confidence. I'm compassionate, patient, detail- oriented, and creative, providing enriching experiences through play, physical activities, and crafts. I hold current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications.
