About Katherine

Working with those older and younger Generations, I am excited to explore the opportunity to begin working with children again. Working with the elderly often comes with the ability to adapt to unique and unforeseen situation, similar to those that parents experience on a daily basis. Many of my current residents have mental barriers such as dementia, schizophrenia and more, thereby making day-to-day activities a challenge to those involved. I have learned the ability to anticipate other people's knees while making adjustments and pre-planned daily activities. Working with children is my passion. I am a strong advocate for creating a positive social environment and the development of life skills. I believe is one of the most important characteristic traits that create a positive change in people.
