Hi! I'm Katherine, and I am a college student majoring in Molecular Biology living in Highland Park. I am seeking a position in a childcare where I can combine my passion for education and nurturing children's growth. My journey in caregiving began early, taking care of my neighbors' kids and dogs. This experience taught me responsibility and compassion. I later became a teacher aide, working with children from infancy to middle school, creating engaging educational activities. Additionally, my time in pediatrics while volunteering at a hospital provided valuable insights into development and healthcare. Alongside my academic pursuits, I have a deep appreciation for art and music, which I incorporate into creative activities for kids. I also enjoy cooking and believe in the importance of healthy, delicious meals in a child's development.
