I am thoughtful, patient, empathetic, and have a good sense of humor. As someone who was born with chronic illness/invisible disabilities, I personally understand what it is like to manage chronic conditions. That's why I became a social worker! I have specialized in lifespan/behavior development and disability advocacy through both my undergraduate and master's programs. Professionally I've worked as an early education& behavioral therapist in a clinic, school, and home setting, as a school social worker in a therapeutic day school, and in child& teen therapy. Primarily my experience has been with children &teens within the autism spectrum. I have great boundaries and can create structure, routine,& consistency (with rules). Recently I have been working as a case manager in a hospital, and personally have experience supporting and managing chronic conditions. So I'm also quite comfortable with being around and using medical equipment/injections as well!
