About Katherine

Hola future families! My name is Katy, I'm originally from Connecticut, and I now live in Lodi, NJ. As the oldest in my family, I was blessed with the privilege of caring for my younger sister and cousins throughout high school. I took my natural caretaking skills and decided to spend six years in the Dominican Republic as a volunteer working with children of greater need. After moving back to the states, I became a virtual English teacher to students in China, and an in person Spanish teacher for local English students. I have a degree in graphic design, but am looking to return to my roots working with children. As someone who has no plans to have my own children, I seek to find a family who I can be a part of, and grow with. I also offer light cleaning, cooking, pet care (I have a dog named Luna!) errands, pickups and drop offs, and of course, tutoring! Thank you so much for your interest!
