Hello families, I'm Kat! I'm an easygoing, patient, and positive person who loves kids. I am currently searching for a nanny or house manager position. A bit about me and my goals as a nanny: I'm very passionate about child care, child development, speech and language, and motor skill development. I'm attentive not only to your child, but also to the needs of your family. I have loved becoming an extension of the family as a nanny and wish to find someone who carries the same wishes when hiring their nanny. I've had a very positive experience incorporating both Spanish and ASL into learning, as a second form of communication. My ultimate goal when caring for your child is to provide a safe and nurturing environment for them to grow in. We'd give Kat more than 5 stars if we could! Our daughter was 6 month old and had recently broken her leg when Kat started nanny'ing her. She was only breastfed and refused any bottle or sippy cup/straw cup. She was also very attached to mom and dad. Kat asked us our goals for her and immediately sprung into action. She was patient, took the time to get to know our daughter, and connected with her so quickly. After a couple of weeks, she had our daughter on a cup with a straw, she had a nap time schedule for her, she was so attentive to her leg break while also trying to find ways for her to hit her milestones. She has a quiet confidence, and brings a calmness with her that is needed for any sleep deprived parent. It's hard to say goodbye, but I know she can help another family out there!
