About Katherine

My name is Kate and I'd describe my personality as compassionate, reliable, and hardworking I like working with kids because I believe it is important to cultivate and care for young minds. I eventually want to work in elementary education after I am done with my degree so that I can continue my passion of working with children. I'm looking for a job that allows me to work during the week in the summer and possibly a babysitting job during the school year. I am a student athlete at DU so it will be hard to balance a full time nanny job during first quarter. I started working with kids when I was 16 in a daycare and then moved to different babysitting jobs during the last couple years. In my spare time, I like to play volleyball, read, going on walks, and spend time with my friends. One thing you should know about me is that I am dedicated to being someone that you can trust and rely on. My skills include cooking, cleaning, and finding activities that stimulate children's minds.
