Hi there! My name is Katherine, I'm 22 years old, and I'm a recent college graduate from Harvard University, with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. I have formal experience as a teaching assistant in both math and engineering courses, for both of which I underwent training on the best ways to engage students in learning. In addition, I have professional experience with kids as both a camp counselor and volleyball coach. I am very patient and try to encourage students to build a strong foundation of intuition and understanding of a topic, which ultimately is the best preparation for attacking difficult problems. My skills excel in math, science, grammar, and Spanish (earned seal of bi-literacy), but I am open to all subjects. I hope I can be of help to your family!

Katherine was such a lifesaver for our family. We were moving locally and she competently helped with many tasks including child care, errands, tidying up and helping me move stuff from one house to the other. She is cheerful and has a can-do attitude. We felt very blessed to have her help at a particularly busy time.
