I'm a childcare provider with a genuine passion for nurturing children's growth and development. My journey began with babysitting my niece and my cousins when I was still a child which solidified my desire to make a positive impact on young lives. I bring forth a patient and calm demeanor, complemented by creativity and imagination. Effective communication is key, so I keep parents informed through verbal updates at pickup and regular text or phone call updates, adapting to their preferred method. When it comes to household rules, I adhere to the expectations set by parents and ensure accountability. I'm comfortable making necessary decisions and communicating them promptly. Playtime is essential, and I enjoy a diverse range of activities with children, from outdoor sports to board games and educational games that foster learning. With two years of experience as an ECSE paraprofessional in a 4-5-year-old classroom, I'm well-equipped to care for one or more children at a time.
