The different animals I have cared for besides cats and dogs are chameleons, gerbils, hamsters, rabbits, turtles, hermit crabs, fish, hedgehogs. I will admit though, my favorites are dogs and cats, but I do love them all. When a pet comes into your home, regardless of its species, they become a family member. It is important to form a trusting relationship with a dog or a cat in order to be able to properly care for them. I very much enjoy new opportunities to make a new furry friend.
