About Katherine

Hi. I am a 40-year-old college graduate (Amherst College) who moved to the White Mountains last year. I have a 20+ years of childcare experience starting with when I was a camp counselor at 16 up until now when I look after my nieces and nephews (ranging in age from 13 to newborn). In my part time, I am an aspiring artist/painter, so creative projects are one of my favorite ways to spend an afternoon. I was also a college athlete, so getting outside and active is a must! I am one of 5 kids and the only one with out kids, so I'm sort of the super Auntie to all my nieces and nephews. They are truly some of my favorite humans on earth, and I find it so rewarding watching kids grow and learn. I'm big on manners and ingraining good behaviors from an early age but encouraging this with love, compassion and communication. My ideal situation would be helping a family out a few days per week with a max of 20 hours. Hope to hear from you!
