Katherine was nice and respectful on our interview calls, but ultimately did not start work with us. She did accept the position and noted she would not be available until the end of the following month. We opted to give her a chance and scheduled her first day. I confirmed the start date in the upcoming weeks and Katherine also confirmed the start date the Saturday before she was supposed to start. Katherine abruptly cancelled the day before she was scheduled to report. A little more consideration, especially before additional costs were incurred, would have been appreciated.
