Hello, I am a professional dancer/actor living in the Chicago area. I am looking for occasional babysitting, date nights, and am open to some long term positions. My experience includes 3 different families in which I have provided long term care in addition to teaching dance classes and summer camps for children ranging in ages from 3-9. These experiences gave me many valuable skills in early childhood development, especially pertaining to art and music. I am a kind and caring individual and have always been known to be trustworthy and responsible. In addition to dance and music I love to do crafts, bake and explore new places.

I am pleased to recommend Katie for employment. Katie assisted me with early childhood dance camps during the summer of 2016. She was consistently dependable, arriving on time and ready to work. She interacted well with the young campers, ages 3-5. Katie was quick to respond to the needs of individual children to ensure that I could keep my focus on teaching the group lesson to 20 energetic students. The camps included craft time as well as dance and creative movement. Katie clearly enjoyed working with the kids and guiding them to appropriate behavior. As an instructor at Metropolitan School of the Arts and member of the Kingstowne community, I have had the opportunity to see Katie's dedication to her dance education, while still participating actively in her high school theater department. She clearly has excellent time management skills to succeed in meeting these varied demands while still keeping up with her school work.
