About Katherine

I have 10 years of experience as an educator, as well as 3 years as a nanny and babysitter. As a childcare provider I cared for up to five children at once, ranging from 5 weeks to 8 years. I am currently spending time with family in Washington state, and am available, willing and ready to move immediately to Colorado (Denver or Boulder areas) or California (ideally near San Diego) for the right job. I spent the last 6 years in Panama and Turkey teaching grade 5. I love sports and have played/coached many seasons of basketball and volleyball and was a volunteer coach with Girls on the Run. Other interests include Spanish (it was my minor in college), music (I play the piano), and I love doing art projects. I have a lot of experience with childcare and development, but also the drive to work hard and do whatever is needed to provide the best care possible for you, your children, and even your pets.
