About Katherine

I am a mother and deeply understand the importance of observation, dedication, and commitment in the development of a baby during its first years of life. In 2010, I had the opportunity to join the Montessori School of Cartagena as a Bilingual Preschool Teacher, working with children ages 4 to 5. In that role, I was in charge of tutoring and leading activities, always focused on offering a positive and enriching learning environment. I firmly believe in the importance of teaching how to give love and care to children, understand their needs, and provide them with a safe space that fosters their self-esteem. Most recently, I worked at Snyder Elementary School from January to June 2023, as a teacher's assistant and aide in classrooms for neurodivergent and disabled students, which allowed me to continue developing my skills to support learning diversity in an inclusive environment.
