About Katherine

While attending school at the University of Arizona, I cared for a 67-year-old woman who had suffered from a stroke followed by two heart attacks. After caring for her for four years, I have become very sensitive for other elderly in need of assistance, and believe that I have the experience to be a great caregiver. She was bedridden. I prepared her medication daily, and also prepared well balanced meals throughout the work day. Some medication required a certain blood pressure so I would also monitor her blood pressure and oxygen levels. I love working with elderly people and I simply enjoy helping those in need. Though I left Arizona, I miss the satisfaction and pure joy that I would obtain from helping someone who had such a great heart, and I would enjoy helping other elderly in need of my assistance.
