About Katherine

As the third eldest of 9 children, I have spent my entire life caretaking, cooking, housekeeping, tutoring, and essentially raising my 6 younger siblings. Being a part of a big family has not only prepared me for taking care of children, but has also fostered my love of kids! I have lots of experience, not just with my own family, but through years of babysitting, working in the daycare and nursery in my church, and watching the children of the staff of my old high school. I also tutor English to all ages and can help younger children with all of their homework and educational needs. I hope to find a stable nannying position and dedicate myself and my services to one family in need of a reliable helping hand. I guide children with patience and compassion, and as someone who's creative, energetic, and fun, I try to find new ways to educate and engage the children I look after. I believe learning and growth should be supported in an exciting, safe, and comfortable environment!
