About Katherine

Hi my name is Katherine (Katie). I have been working with kids all my life. I come from a large family and at the age of 13, I began to babysit for multiple families. As the years went by, I became a nanny and I did a fair bit of traveling as a travel nanny during the summer months. I took a break from nannying when I graduated high school and went to college to further my education. When I graduated, I became a teacher. I spent this past summer au paring in Europe before returning for my second year of teaching. Now, I am looking to work a few more hours, doing what I do best. My strengths include, communication, building strong relationships, creativity and empathy. I am organized and efficient and consistent. I value honesty and transparency when working with others. I am experienced with kids of all ages and I am able to also help with homework, light cleaning and other odd jobs you may need done.
