About Katherine

I completed my B. S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin in 2021, worked in software development for a few years, and am currently pursuing my Master's in Computer Science at CU Boulder. My hobbies include running, backpacking, painting, and traveling. I have always loved teaching, and know that an instructor can make all the difference in how you as a student feel about a subject. Part of what led me to my education and career in engineering was some of the excellent math and science teachers I had early on. I prioritize not only helping my students get the grade they want, but fully understanding the course material, and maybe even helping them discover their future career or education passion :) I mainly focus on tutoring math, science, mechanical engineering, and programming, but am happy to tutor a different subject on request.
