About Katherine

I'd describe my personality as positive, patient, and creative. I like working with kids because they are little sponges that can soak up so much information and are pure joy. Everything through their eyes is magical. Their love for life is contagious. I'm looking for a job that is consistent and appreciates all of my knowledge. I come with a degree and experience. I love to do many different activities and keep the day moving. I started working with kids when I was a teenager and I babysat. 26 years ago I became an elementary school teacher. I since have retired, but I want to continue using my skills. I successfully raised 2 amazing daughters. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my husband and puppy. We like to paddle board, kayak, scuba dive and sit and watch movies. One thing you should know about me is I will never put your child in front of a tablet, computer or TV unless we've discussed it before hand. Playing, singing, reading is the most important.
