Hi there, my name is Katie! I am a full-time teacher and mother of two little girls, ages 6 and 8. They are my world. My area of most expertise is in the ELA arena, and I also teach first- and second-year Latin. I am particularly skilled at helping with academic writing (structure, audience, conventions) and English grammar from a synthetic viewpoint (it makes grammar SO much easier when we understand what components *are* in fact based very much on rules). I'm also very experienced in "crash course" style Latin basics for students needing to make up the foundation of its study in order to pick up in second year or simply to have a jump start/additional help with the subject.
