About Katherine

I have a BFA in printmaking and art history, classes in biology, genetics, and chemistry, and most of an MFA in studio art. I was a tutor in the writing center at UTEP and became the senior writing tutor there. I have been tutoring off and on for 15 years, with certifications from UTEP and a CIEE ESOL international certification. I have taught several classes at the college level, including ESOL grammar, reading, writing, and listening and speaking, as well as writing and art, introduction to drawing, introduction to printmaking, and have assisted with several other classes at NMSU in the art department. I have been doing printmaking for 20 years and offer private lessons in printmaking as well as basic foundational arts and art history. I can tutor math, but am only comfortable with that subject for elementary and middle school levels.
