I worked for a family with a special needs child for over a decade. I also have experience special needs children in school. I have experience with physical special needs such as multiple sclerosis, chronic asthma, epilepsy, etc. developmental special needs such as down syndrome, autism, dyslexia, processing disorders as well as behavioral/emotional special needs like ADD, bi-polar, oppositional defiance disorder to name a few. As a teacher I carry a love for children and a passion to inspire, educate and to have fun! I believe that there is great significance in understanding students' individual differences. Taking the appropriate steps to ensure their optimal development is necessary. It is important to be able to accommodate every child's needs while showing them that they are valued and that your truly care.
