About Katherine

I'm a college-educated caregiver with a passion for nurturing growth and connecting children to nature. My journey began as a whitewater rafting guide during college, where I worked with children of all ages, including toddlers. This experience sparked my love for child care, leading me to a managerial role focused on educational, nature-based experiences. I've also worked abroad, becoming fluent in Spanish in Chile and teaching kayaking to children in Slovenia. After returning home to care for my father, I spent valuable time with my three young nephews (ages 1, 3, and 5), gaining hands-on experience with young children. Now in San Diego, I'm excited to apply my skills as a caregiver. CPR and First Aid certified, I believe in creating a balanced, nurturing environment where children can feel safe, play, and grow.
