I have a Bachelor's Degree from UAB in Elementary Education. I am attending UAB beginning in August to obtain my Master's Degree in Early Childhood Special Education (Ages Birth - 8 Years Old). I have previously been a nanny for a child with Autism for two years, but love working with children with any special needs. Working with children that have special needs can be both challenging and rewarding. Working with these children brings a sense of fulfillment to each day. I love being able to be apart of the child's, as well as the family's, journey in helping the child grow, learn and improve their skills, and work towards independence. Working with children that have special needs is a passion that I have and I hope to do it as a career for the rest of my life.
