I was working as a child care coordinator at a family homeless shelter for 8 years. The ages were from 2-10 years old. I was also working at a Mental Health Agency in a therapeutic preschool. I had the toddlers and preschoolers. I emphasize on art activities, since I have a degree in art, and believe that art is very supportive, especially for kids, who are in difficult situations. I can do ASQ screenings that tell where children are with their cognitive, language and emotional skills. I taught parenting groups. I love being around little kids and help them to grow socially and developmentally. Do any art with them is one of my favors, play with them and keep them company. I love going to the park or other outings, being at the library. I am working as a nanny for the last 3 years, I can also talk with your child in German and French, if there is a need or interest. I am flexible to talk about my hourly rate. Please ask for recommendations. I am fully vaccinated with booster.

She has a strong and long background in care giving and child development, is great with children and understands their needs and I recommend her highly. Because she is also an artist, Katherine brings a fresh and lively creative perspective to everything she is involved in and is sensitive to the not-so-obvious needs as well. She's a gem!
