About Katherina

I started babysitting in high-school, then volunteering at an after-school program, offering art and dance classes to 2nd-8th graders. For the past few years, I've been living in an intentional community with plenty of little ones running around, and have developed even sweeter friendships with young folks. I am very playful and energetic, love to listen and love to tell stories. I value children's curiosity and authenticity, and learn a lot from them. I am responsible and organized, and able to handle tough situations with grace. I value children's autonomy, curiosity and exploration, and can maintain firm boundaries to keep them safe. Above all, I value this service as a way to support young kids and families. It is an honor to play this role in community.
