Hi! My name is Katie and I am going into my fourth year of teaching 1st grade and I have been caring for my aunt who has Down Syndrome for 2 years. Other past work experience: I cleaned private homes and public buildings for two years while I was in college. I worked as a Direct Care Worker for children with autism for 18 months. I worked as a youth leader for middle school and high school students for two years. I love to stay busy! I love to cook, bake, clean, organize, travel, explore nature, do crafts and science experiments, and prioritize fun educational activities. I teach summer school from June 27th-July 26th Monday-Thursday 8-12:30. I would love an opportunity to meet or talk with your family.
